Audiometric testing can be done onsite at your facility in one of our three mobile vans, each testing a different number of employees at a time.
We can test: 24 per hour (192 employees per 8 hour shift) 15 per hour (120 employees per 8 hour shift) 12 per hour (96 employees per 8 hour shift)
When your employees come to our van, they are greeted, asked to sign in, and given an otoscopic exam to check for blockages, disease, perforated ear drums, and other abnormalities of the ear. Then they are seated to view a training film. This will fulfill the training part of the Hearing Conservation Amendment (29 CFR 1910.95).
After the training, they move into the booth to take the hearing test. Before your employees leave our vans, they will have a letter explaining the results of their test. The letters are in layman terms, easy to read and understand. We can provide the letters in English or Spanish.
Back at our office, results are compiled, compared, and reviewed. You will receive your results within a week, usually. We do not make you print your own results from an online website. We print them for you and bind them into a book. The results are studied and notated, so that you can do the required follow-up. We'll call you to go over results and guide you in any follow up that may be needed.

All of our audiometers go through an Exhaustive Calibration yearly. Our vans and trailers are well-maintained, very clean, neat and QUIET.
Our support staff back at the office is always available to answer your questions and concerns about your employees results. We work hard to make sure you understand what those results mean and to make sure you're in compliance with Federal Regulations.
Our service is very personal and helpful, because we know you have more to do each day than trying to decipher audiometric results and wondering what to do next!

When you switch from another medical testing company to OMY, Inc. - we make it easy! Data can be sent to us electronically OR we can hand enter it for you. There is very little that YOU will have to do. Just give us the name of the company you used previously and let us take it from there. Or make a copy of your last data list and we can put it on our computer system. Free of charge, of course!
